However Pale Moon's main breakthrough is in Season 3 where Asaka was reversed, which lead her to play Silver Thorn Dragon Queen, Luquier "Яeverse" alongside one of Pale Moon's most competitive build, sub-clan Silver Thorn. Another wielder of this clan is Kiriya Bidou whom is skilled enough to be the leader of Team Asteroid Brilliant Stars. However despite this Asaka Narumi, the main face of the clan is in constant spotlight due to her nature of being the female antagonist in seasons 1 and 2. This clan's first impression upon release is the use of multiple attacking through technical plays, exchanging units with the soul though it has not been very popular probably due to the nature of confusing multi-attacks due to lack of deep understanding, the fragility of multiple attacks itself with multi-triggers (later on, crossrides) and the unappealing aesthetics of clowns overall. In Cardfight!! Vanguard G Pale Moon now focuses on the Magia keyword, which calls units from the soul with added bonuses and/or lower costs in exchange of returning them to the soul at the end of turn. Like the Dark Irregulars and Genesis clan, Pale Moon contains many soulcharging effects however, unlike either of those clans, Pale Moon focuses on superior calling units from the soul. Don't hold your breath."Pale Moon" is a circus-themed clan from the nation of Dark Zone, and introduced in Booster Set 3: Demonic Lord Invasion.
If a build like this can't work, I really don't think anything will until we get more Pale Moon support.
Without a damage unflipper, I can't honestly recommend Dancing Princess, and Midnight Bunny, while being a strong pressure card for Pale Moon, doesn't work without Purple Trapezist in-Soul and also doesn't work well without a consistent damage unflipper. If you hit a trigger on the Vanguard's swing, you can even put a Crit on CBT and force at least two 10k Shields out of the opponent's hand at 26k, or you can put it on your other column- Sky Tiger, depending on how likely it is that your opponent can guard against that many attacks.Ĭerberus and Skull Juggler are largely filler. On Breakride turn, you can slide these two in, slide out CBT and Glenn, and have a 21k column to try and go after the Vanguard. At the very least, you can eliminate most rearguards this way on the first swing. Otherwise, it has like, no real pressure.ĬBT and Bicorn in the same column, assuming you have at least one more CBT in-Soul, hits 19k, which is respectable. My personal preference is Innocent Magician > Girl Who Crossed the Cap because it's kinda super important to hit Eva in this deck ASAP. Here's something I'm considering trying out. Jumping Glenn and Jill can hit 22k in a column together, but ONLY when they're called from Soul, meaning the turn after that, unless you can slide them in and out, even assuming you're on Breakride turn, their first swing is going to be pretty pitiful. You do have some options to hit good numbers, but ONLY on your Legion turns, and only if you actually have those tools available in-Soul as opposed to in your hand or on the field. Your options will be limited more often, and you can only effectively call things from the Soul on the turn you perform Legion. Generic Pale Moon has very similar problems with the additional problem that it can't SC as efficiently as Silver Thorns can. While they can pressure with G2's like Maricica and Rising Dragon with support from Ana in the backrow, they still don't hit numbers high enough to be threatening without Upright Lion. They can also SC much more efficiently than anything outside of their sub-clan.
Silver Thorns can hit some good numbers on the turn they swarm with Venus because of cards like Upright Lion. Pale Moon is in a very awkward position right now.
